Registration fee $58.00 plus the cost of materials on the day, approx $70- $100.

 

In this class you will learn all the basics of producing jewellery with this wonderful medium. Size and make rings, earrings. pendants, and leaves. You choose what you make, and will go home with two or three fired and finished items to impress your friends and family!

 

Dates for classes 2012: Sunday January 29th, March 11th, April 1st and 29th, May 20th, June 3rd and 17th.

 

ART CLAY SILVER Open Workshops

Sundays by arrangement.

$55 registration plus the cost of the materials on the day.

Once you have completed a beginners class come
and produce your own jewellery and be inspired by what others are doing!
Experiment with using paper clay, dichroic glass and stone settings, and mold making.
You choose your own projects with assistance.

 

OPEN WORKSHOP.
By arrangement you can come in and work during the week (from 10.30 to 6.00) for $10-$15 per hour (this includes all tool usage and firing. Materials extra. Just contact Ruth to arrange this.

Art Clay Copper Classes

Classes for 2012:   Sunday February 5th, March 18th, May 6th, June 10th.  Classes run from 10-5pm.
Registration fee $75 and cost of materials approx $30. A $10 firing fee is charged for this class to cover extra costs.

 

Learn how to use this amazing and user-friendly new metal! This is a different consistency to the silver and allows for more bending, folding, sculpting – and of course, punch, texture, mold. You will learn methods of combining the copper and silver to create stunning and original pieces of jewellery. The cost factor allows for working larger than the silver — $38 for 50gms of copper!

Experience the miraculous transformation of Precious Metal Clay into pure silver jewellery.
